All homework is on Showbie.  The homework is posted on my calendar each day.  Unless otherwise posted all homework is from the problem set on each lesson.

I hope that everyone is doing ok.  We are going to try to keep learning math as simple as possible this year.  I do not mean that I will not be pushing my students to be the best they can be.  I mean that the way that I teach math this year will be simple so that we can try to handle whatever might come our way.  We will be doing math rather in the classroom or if we have to learn remotely again, by using showbie.  If we learn that we have to stay at home, students will continue to learn the same way they were in class.  The only part that becomes much harder would be the conversations we would have in the classroom.  However we will do our best in small groups using zoom.  I have you and your students best interests in mind as we move forward.  My first objective is to keep them and you safe as much as possible.  My second objective is to show them what amazing math students they can be no matter what.   Please use the calendar that is attached to this website.  I will be posting the sections in showbie that are due each day.  Also as parents you can join showbie to see how your child it doing in the class.

Hello, I am team 6C's math teacher.  I was born in Ohio, but I went to college at Eastern Michigan University.  I have been teaching for 16 years in North Carolina, this is my second year teaching in Kansas.  I hope to make math fun for students, but I am happy if they just become great mathematicians.  I am married to a wonderful woman who also teaches math at the college level in Garden City.  We have one dog and a cat.  I love coaching basketball and volleyball.
